As Salaamu Alaikum, I really think you are doing an excellent job with this magazine. I just wanted to say that I truly believe that Imam Vernon Fareed's name should have been added to the list if you google his name you will see why he should be included on the list of influential people. He was the Imam to hold Imam W.D. Mohammed community together after his death by bringing all the Imams to together and setting some sort of agenda for the community. Keep up the good work will talk to you soon Swiyyah.

Dr. Sherman Jackson is a superb scholar whose works make a great contribution to critical thought in Islam. Imam Zaid Shakir is a critical thinker-scholar as well as charismatic and SINCERE leader. I applaud their leadership!

Wow, how can they leave out the founding father of American Muslim politics and cofounder of the largest national Muslim umbrella group (AMT), Dr Agha Saeed!

Why has Imam W. Deen Mohammed and El-Hajj Malcolm Shabazz (as) not been included in this list? Is a list of those who are currently alive? I believe they have affected Muslim America as much and even more than some on this list of 25. Just curious! Thanks

I think this is long over due for Okolo Rashid and her very supportive Right arm Sababu Rashid. Their work at the International Museum of Muslim Cultures and in the global Muslim Ummah.

How could you not have Khalid Latif?
Muslim Street - this list is terrible.
I love Muhammad Ali and David Chappelle - but please tell me how you can have them on the same list as Zaid Shakir, Imam Siraj and Dr. Bukhari???
